How should I prepare?

This is a backyard wedding. We have done our best to ensure there is smooth paths and adequate protection from the elements but please note that there is gravel and grass to walk through. Also please check the weather and bring a sweater for the evening if it is looking cool.

Will there be a bar?

We will have a toonie bar, please bring cash, we will be operating on the honor system!

Is there a gift registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift of all! But if you’d like to give something, we’d truly appreciate financial contributions toward our honeymoon.

Will there be a shuttle?

Yes, we will have a shuttle starting in the evening to late back to Nelson.

Is there parking at the house?

Parking is limited, we will be asking people to park in a nearby lot and shuttling people to the venue. We ask that you please carpool!

Are kids invited?

Yes! Kids are welcome, and there will be activities to keep them entertained. However, please plan accordingly if you’d like to stay late—we hope you will, as we’re looking forward to a rootin’ tootin’ good time with all our lovely guests well into the night!

Are dogs allowed

We love our furry friends, but please leave your dogs at home.

Is there a dress code?

It’s a backyard garden party with a dash of funky fun! Our semi-formal dress code embraces bold colors, florals, and a little hint of retro. Suits or dress shirts with slacks, flowing midi or maxi dresses—anything that feels fun, fabulous, and ready to celebrate.
